Hello everyone! I'm Valentine. I'm in charge of marketing and communications at Yade, and today, I decided to tell you a little more about the ins and outs of the pantyhose industry... So grab your notebooks and take notes! 🌱
Did you know that tights are among the biggest polluters in the textile industry?
Tights are the number one accessory worn by women. However, the tights industry is extremely polluting, as it is dominated by planned obsolescence... 🚮
In fact, every year, 104 million tights end up in the trash, or 7,000 tons in total: just think... that's the weight of the Eiffel Tower! 😱
At Yade, our mission is to fight against this planned obsolescence and to help women and men optimize their tights consumption. ♻️
How can we make our tights consumption more environmentally friendly?
1: First, we developed the perfect tights: tights that are 10 times more durable than average and guaranteed to last for many uses. No need to throw away your tights two days after buying them! ✌🏼
2: Since tights are worn next to the skin, but also close to your intimate area, we were keen to ban all chemical products. 🙅🏻♀️
That's why all our components are OEKO-TEX certified. This certification guarantees super clean and eco-responsible production, as well as a total absence of toxic products for your body and the environment. So you can wear our tights with complete peace of mind: no risk of allergies! 😌
3: All our tights are produced in European factories to reduce our carbon footprint. 🇪🇺 In fact, some products will soon be Made in France!
We have plenty of other ultra-green surprises in store for you this year. A word of advice: stay tuned… 😉
